Standard baseboard heater fit behind the toilet bowl
Yes. With a baseboard heater behind the toilet Convenient Height 20 inch extra tall toilet will work. We made the drawing on this subject

What is accurate length of toilet? (back end to tip of bowl front, to clear door swing)
The overall length is 27″, with the 1/2″ variations. As we continue producing we will determine if 1/2″ is a permanent increase for the back to the tip of the bowl front (length). There may be units that get produced at 27″ to 27-1/2″. Usually 1/2″ is not a deal breaker for the measurements and bathroom fit, but it also may be. So we always recommend leaving an inch or two in play when deciding to order, for things like the door swing to clear. Especially since the way your toilet drain works is it will Not be a perfect fit, right to the millimeter. It never is for any toilet. All the plumbing drains and drain flanges are considered “roughs” and that is why they are called “a rough-in”. So they naturally have some room to move the entire toilet on the flange until it is set and bolted down.
Tank to bowl distance 2" (meets most bidets). Distance between mounting holes 5-1/2 inches.

Very many of our Convenient Height customers decide to add a bidet to the Tall Toilet. Nearly 40% of all customers purchase a bidet for added convenience. Our tall toilet and bidet is known to be a Powerful Combination of Convenience. We made our toilet highly compatible with nearly all bidets manufactured according to the general bidet fit standards. Prior purchasing a bidet, please review the measurements here shown in the drawings and compare them to the measurements outlined in the bidet specification sheet.

Does your 20 inch height tall toilet flush well?
Yes. Actually, it flushes better than most siphonic toilets – and here is why. Our super tall bowl elevation adds some more power to the siphonic flush, based on height and gravity physics; all contents rush downward drain moving incoming water at a naturally increasing flow speed. Convenient Height 20″ toilets have the advantage of added steeper elevation which is naturally good for a stronger siphonic action. Right after the trap way bend, the route is downward all the way into the drain, with literally no resistance at all. The Convenient Height Co. production plant tested Model S toilet with 3 ping pong tennis balls and additional hard items in the bowl at the same time and it flushed well; additionally, it passed the 1000 grams. hard artificial waste flush testing.
MaP-Testing is an independent and voluntary testing program for toilet models. MaP (Maximum Performance) Scores represent the number of grams of solid waste (soybean paste and toilet paper) that a toilet model can flush and remove completely from the fixture in a single flush.
MaP guidelines were used for our flush rate testing and we completed a MaP type flush test at our factory that shows a result of over 1000 grams in one flush.
What is the measurement from the rim to the water level? Many manufacturers can't tell me what the number is, but for my husband it is important.
This is a very popular question about the Convenient Height brand 20 -21 inch tall toilet. When measuring from top of the rim down to the surface of water, the distance is 8-9 inches. When measuring from water surface up with a toilet seat lowered, distance gains one more inch from water surface (waterline) to the top of the toilet seat, making the water surface (waterline) distance to the top of the seat up to 10 inches. Another, different toilet bowl water level measurement is when measuring water amount level at the bottom of the bowl. This toilet bowl water level is measured from the bottom of the visible part of the trap bend to the water surface – and this measurement is about 5 inches. One may wonder, if the bowl height is 20 inches, top of the rim down to the water surface distance is around 10″, bottom trap bend to water surface is about 5″ – where did the 5 inches go in this 20-inch Convenient Height toilet?.. The answer is: we built the trap at the elevation of 5 inches, which works from bowl strength engineering standpoint and allows for added height/gravity power for a better speed of the siphonic flush action down the drain, literally! What is Convenient Height toilet flushing type?
Convenient Height toilet has a dual flush option designed to save water by using a minimal amount of water required to clean a 20 inch toilet bowl. The dual flushing mechanism replacement parts are available right here for order on our Online Store. Your installer/plumber can also choose to install their own single flush conventional (good ol’ chain and flapper style) mechanism, as long as the 2 inch diameter flush valve is used.
Pressure assist (air pressure) flush systems question
Thank you for your question. As you said in your note, “Air pressure flush system is used by the businesses and stores”.. which in other words means – for toilets in the Commercial setting. Commercial drains are not the same as residential and commercial buildings have more complex plumbing systems. Strong water pressure is needed to push water up multiple floors and with the web of drainage pipes, the same principle of power is for contents going down from sinks and toilets. Please also do not forget the main reason Commercial buildings need pressure assisted toilet flush – in commercial bathrooms, there is a lot more stuff thrown to flush that does not belong in the toilet drain!..
So while technically you can get a pressure assist system for a residential toilet, please ensure your home piping can handle the added air pressure. Your plumber is correct to say “air pressure flush system helps keep the sewer system clear and that low flush toilets are causing sewer problems”. But – can has your residential drain been tested to handle air pressure delivered by air pressure device and do you really need it?..
With our Tall Toilet, there is something we engineered better than many others, and it is a gravity-based powerful flush. Please take a moment to watch videos on our website (link here https://convenientheight.com/videos or our youtube channel) as it relates to toilet flushing. We show how much of contents and how well our Convenient Height tall toilet flushes it all down. A good gravity-based powerful flush (like ours) is much safer for your residential drain pipes than the air-pressure designed for commercial setting. Our bowl is engineered to delivers plenty of pressure to push contents down the drain.
Air venting for drain pipes
Air is critical to the drainage process because drainage flow is caused by sloping pipes, and the motive force is gravity. Without proper air flow, you may experience slow drain performance or a gulping sound in your fixture. Plumbing air vents also prevent sewer gases from entering the home and allow wastewater gas and odor to escape. Plumbing vent pipes are located on roofs, away from windows or air conditioning units, so that the fumes can easily dissipate. Proper ventilation is especially important for a good drain action.
Is the toilet California compliant?
Yes. From our early beginning, the Convenient Height Company product design team was very sensitive to the fact that California and growing number of the States were working to urgently address water shortage issues. Convenient Height 20 inch toilet was designed to proactively comply with the water saving requirements of 1.28 GPF max (1.28 gallon per flush of maximum water usage). Our 20″ height toilet bowl was designed to flush extremely well with minimal amount of water. Even visually, it is easy to witness how minimalistic our toilet tank is – this part of the design was important to us to not only meet the goal of the product esthetics, but also as the mission statement for water efficiency and water economy. Having said the above, the Convenient Height 20 inch height tall toilet is equipped with a dual flush valve which meets the following water closets (WC/toilets) regulation standards: 1) All toilets in newly constructed residential buildings must be either dual flush maximum flush volume of 1.28 GPF; or if single flush, with a max flush volume of 1.06 gpf (Convenient Height toilet has a dual flush valve); 2) All toilets in retrofits and other building types must be dual flush maximum flush volume of 1.28 GPF; effective flush volume of 1.06 GPF, or 2) single flush with a max flush volume of 1.28 gpf (Convenient Height toilet has a dual flush valve).
Water saving requirements (1.28G PF)
Our Tall Toilet base measurements help determine if your existing toilet footprint will be covered. Our toilet base is considered to be large and covers more sq. inches than other toilets. Mostly, bathrooms have tile laid around the plumbing drain, which means your new tall toilet will cover tile in full, not leaving any gaps. The measurements were drawn to show about 1 inch less on purpose to leave 1 inch for safe measure.

*We have done static weight capacity testing for the Convenient Height tall toilet bowl. Static weight being the amount of total weight placed on a toilet bowl and held stationary (not moving). Our bowl will hold a lot of weight without toilet bowl breaking, with weight in a stationary state. We take into consideration safety factors and the fact, weight on the bowl is not always stationary when in the bathroom.
Once seat is lifted, how high is seat extending above tank to clear shelf installed over toilet?
To paraphrase the question, here the measurement was needed of when the toilet seat is open (lifted vertically). Then the question was how high does top of seat come up over the tank? The customer had a shelf right above the toilet. To answer this question, seat lifted will add 2 inches (actual) in overall height. But add 3 inches to total height. The seat actually goes up just 2 inches above, but we want extra inch to ensure it cleared. So let’s add 3”.
The overall height required to clear the seat will be 39-1/2”.

Can I replace flush and handle with traditional single flush from hardware or plumbing store?
Short answer:
Yes.
Here is more information:
The Convenient Height tank parts are all available or interchangeable with the majority of 2 inch flush valves – single or dual flush.
If you would like a specific color and shape flush lever (for toilet flush handle to perfectly match the bathroom vanity hardware, for example), there are lot of flush lever/handle options available for a single flush. This toilet can be installed with the 2 inch size single flush valve and the handle can be chosen from a selection for this type of the flush hardware – sold by any showroom or hardware store. So there is no restriction to having to use supplied flush parts.
We made a video showing how this single flush mechanism works with our Tall Toilet. You can find it on our YouTube channel
The fill valve is responsible for refilling the tank after being flushed. As the water level goes down the float on the fill valve goes down to allowing water to flow into the tank. Over time a worn out valve can cause a leak. If your fill valve leaks or if water continues to run after flushing it may be time to replace the fill valve. Fill valves can be purchased at your local hardware stores. Our Convenient Height Fill Valve is 1″ diameter.
